Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has accused the BJP-led central government of evicting her from her official residence for the second time in three months. Despite the setback, Atishi remains determined to continue her work for the people of Delhi and vowed to fulfill the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) promises to women, the elderly, and priests.

Atishi expressed her frustration at a press conference, stating that the BJP canceled her official residence allotment, a decision she described as politically motivated. She emphasized her commitment to public welfare by highlighting the AAP government’s ongoing projects, including road repairs, flyovers, new school openings, and essential health services.

Atishi also reiterated her pledge to disburse Rs 2,100 to every woman under the Mahila Samman Yojna, provide free healthcare for the elderly, and offer Rs 18,000 monthly to priests and granthis. She emphasized that no matter the challenges, the AAP will continue to prioritize Delhi’s development.

In response to these actions, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj criticized the BJP for its unprecedented actions and accused them of prioritizing political vendettas over the well-being of Delhi’s citizens. Bhardwaj stressed that it was the first time in 75 years that an elected CM had been evicted from their official residence twice.

The political tensions have escalated ahead of the Delhi Election 2025, with allegations flying between the AAP and BJP, further intensifying the election campaign.
